Mission

Mission Statement

The Jackson County Free Health Clinic exists to forge partnerships with patients, medical staff, and the local community to provide quality health care and medications to uninsured adults allowing patients to live healthy, productive lives.

Vision

The Jackson County Free Health Clinic (JCFHC) patients and staff will work toward a common goal of wellness where quality care is not dependent on one's ability to pay. The vision is patients who continue to work, raise families and be productive community members.

Values

Patient partnership: Patient participation is essential to the management of chronic illness and achieving wellness. We commit to provide the education and tools necessary for patients to manage their own health.

Compassionate care: People come first; diseases second. Chronic illness cannot be managed separately from needs of the whole patient. Staff will focus on issues which make compliance and delivery of healthcare more challenging for our patients and then work to tailor interventions appropriately.

Excellence in healthcare: We will provide excellent primary care with special emphasis on achieving the best outcomes for our patients. We will deliver consistent and measurable treatment programs to prevent the complications of chronic diseases.

Community partnership: We are a better community when we are healthier. As a community, we strive to make healthcare available to our residents through service and funding.

Co-operation with other agencies: We will serve only adults with chronic illness. We commit to do this and do it well. Our intent is to avoid duplicate services offered by others and to continue coordinated efforts.

Patient Privacy: We promise to protect our patients' health care information.

Financial Responsibility: We will manage funds responsibly.
